While many of us want to believe that we know just about everything, sometimes we do need to admit to ourselves that we should listen to the experts. As you start to do research about flooring projects or what floors you should install in your new home we have just the resource for you.

Located on our website is a fun place called “Ask the Expert”. Here is a list of questions asked by previous customers that we think will be helpful for you. If you can’t find your particular question you can submit it on-line and we’ll answer you back.

Here are few examples:

Q. What materials are best to use in a room meant mainly for active kids?

A. Sturdy upholstery, easy to clean flooring, soft surfaces and no hard edges. When using carpet, consider looped pile or tightly twisted textures with Stain Resistance.

Q. How do I transition different types of flooring from one room to another?

A. A threshold cover is used when there are height changes in the flooring. Consult with your flooring specialist about a more decorative transition that can be designed depending on your specific type of flooring.

Q. I am interested in a carpet with a formal look, which styles should I consider?

A. A Saxony carpet with its plush velvet appearance would be the perfect carpet style to achieve your formal look. A pattern carpet can also add additional style to a formal room.

Making any major purchase these days is difficult – it’s easy to know what you want – but then it’s easy to get confused and overwhelmed looking at consumer ratings reports and warranties. It’s enough to make you throw your hands in the air and say, “forget it”.

At Pierce we hope to eliminate some of that confusion as you are choosing flooring for your home. Whether you would like hard surface products or carpet we are happy to offer you the Pierce Promise. The Pierce Promise is a warranty designed exclusively for our customers to eliminate the confusion surrounding the various manufacturer’s warranties and to help our customers shop with confidence in knowing their purchase with Pierce will be covered.

Based on the principal of simplicity, the Pierce Promise covers stain protection, installation, manufacturing, service and lifespan. The Pierce Promise costs you nothing extra and it doesn’t void the original manufacturer’s warranties.

The only thing Pierce asks of you, our valuable customers, is a little common sense. The Pierce Promise is for owner occupied, residential property only. If your subfloor is structurally deficient the warranty is void. Natural disasters and obvious customer abuse will also void the warranty. Carpets must be cleaned every 18 months using the hot water extraction method, and hard surface products must be maintained per the manufacturers recommendations. We think that’s fair.

It is our firm belief that this warranty is the best and most unique offered in this industry. It is our sincere interest to provide you with the best quality service while at the same time giving you peace of mind. Learn more about the Pierce Promise.

When you visit our showroom, you may meet one or more of our sales staff. But today we want to acknowledge the rest of the people who make our showroom possible.

Our behind-the scenes team takes care of our warehouse and distribution requirements – ensuring that your purchases are delivered accurately and in a timely fashion. They have help from the computer specialists that help set up and manage our inventory, purchasing and delivery systems.

Move back a bit and we have a transportation team that uses ships, rail and trucks to bring your flooring from our suppliers to you. Some, like our delivery and installation crews, work for us. Others are part of a number of subcontractors we rely on – businesspeople that make our showroom possible.

In our offices, purchasing agents, accountants and assistants manage the administrative requirements of our operation. Our managers make sure everything is on track for your visit and your purchase. Marketing creates the advertising that we hope will draw you to our showroom when you need flooring.

Finally, our remarkable cadre of suppliers manufactures our carpeting, tile and wood and mines our selection of stone products. Our team spends time evaluating every supplier to make sure we can offer you the best quality, the most current styles and the best prices in the industry.

We are proud to share with you news about one of our family members at Pierce Flooring. His name is Kevan Coombs. He is a National Champion power lifter!!(His weight class is 220 lbs.)

Kevan’s accomplishments:

He just qualified for the World Championship
Kevan has competed for 17 years
He has competed in 72 competitions, finishing in 1st place 59 times!
Kevan is a 4 time National Champion and is now the National Record holder in Bench Press at 452 lbs.!
He is also the previous National record holder in the Deadlift at 600 lbs.

We are very proud of Kevan’s accomplishments and wanted to share with you our enthusiasm!
